After creating my Outer Space playlist, I thought to myself: "Why not create even more playlists... Just one more, but one that stands out because of its culture." We have a ton of talented artists in North America, so why not discover others from distant continents? This is where I dive into African culture. Even though I don’t understand a single word of their lyrics, that doesn’t stop me from dancing to their music.

I still remember the 2010 World Cup. Yes, I’m really talking about that tournament where all the South African fans were endlessly blowing their vuvuzelas. The theme song of the tournament, "Wavin’ Flag", really stuck with me. That’s when I decided to create a playlist to help us discover the richness of African music together.
